We are excited to announce the expansion of in-person programming beginning in early May. We will be starting with our existing bridge, art, cribbage, mahjong, and grief support groups in May and plan to add new in-person offerings from June through the end of the year. We are so glad that the vaccination rollout and actions we have all taken for the last year in accordance with the state and federal guidelines have helped us get to this point.
We are connecting with our existing groups now to finalize timeslots and estimated participants. Our yoga and tai chi classes will continue to be virtual for time being. We are planning a hybrid approach for our luncheon in May allowing for both curbside pickup and limited seating in-person.
Masks will be required while in the building. You’ll need to pre-register for all in-person activities by giving us a call once the calendar is finalized. Pre-registration enables us to manage the total number of people in the Center at any given time in accordance with the guidelines from the governor and state/federal CDC for indoor gathering sizes and capacity.
Like we did before the pandemic, you will be asked to sign-in when you arrive for your program and answer a few COVID screening questions on the sign-in sheet.
We plan to use the timeslots used in the past for the established bridge, cribbage, mahjong, art and grief support groups and will adjust as necessary.
