A Message to our Members, Supporters and Partners,
On behalf of the Board of Trustees, I am delighted to announce that we have hired Bridget Dempsey as our new Executive Director, replacing Kate when she retires this Spring. Some of you may remember Bridget from her prior role at the Center as the Marketing and Volunteer Coordinator. She returns to the Center as Executive Director, with a strong background in management, financial oversight and operational support. In addition, she brings deep management experience in event planning and local marketing. This experience, coupled with her passion for the Center and its mission, makes her the ideal choice to fill this critical role.
Bridget’s start date at the Center will be April 4, 2022. She will work closely with Kate in the first half of April to transition into the role. During her first week, we plan to host an event to provide all of you the opportunity to meet her. We know you will all be impressed with her energy, enthusiasm and experience.
