The Center could not succeed in providing services and outreach without the help of many volunteers. Some are members, some are not. What they all have in common is the desire to make a difference and enhance the lives of older adults in our community. Want to join us?  Please consider the following opportunities to share your talent and help our senior community.

Receptionist/Admin

​

Our receptionist/admin volunteers help us answer phones, greet members and visitors, help members sign in for and register for programs, help with general queries, and help with mailings. This is a weekly 3-hour shift.

FISH Drivers

​

Our FISH (Friends in Service Helping) Medical Rides Program provides non-emergency rides to medical appointments for those who live in Kennebunk, Kennebunkport, and Arundel who have no other means of transportation. We work within your availability (you can drive once a week or several times a week if you’re able.)

Event Volunteers

​

We hold many fun fundraisers and community and member events throughout the year, and we always need volunteers for our planning committees and day-of event help!

Board Membership

​

If you are interested in volunteering and serving as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Center, please complete the attached form and return the application in person (175 Port Road, Kennebunk, Maine 04043) or via email to the Director of the Center at director@seniorcenterkennebunk.org. Applications are used by the Board to identify and evaluate potential board candidates to present for nomination/ratification at the Center’s Annual Meeting in September. Completing this application form will also help you to understand some of the skills and commitments of this leadership position.
